Are requests for a commissioned project allowed? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I read the sidebar as well as the wiki and am unsure if looking for someone to sew/make a small project is allowed here in /r/sewing. If this falls under the “no selling things”, or any other rule, please let me know and I will delete the post.

My request:

I’m hoping to find someone willing, and able, to put together a bag I made years ago (I no longer have the ability to do it myself). The bag is about 9.5in wide and 13in tall, and made of nylon fabric (easy to clean/wipe down with a washcloth or Clorox wipe). It needs to have a zipper across the top, as well as a loop/handle so it can be hung on a hook/door knob.

If anyone is interested, please message me and we can talk about logistics/clarifications. I want to fairly compensate for all materials, shipping cost, and of course your time. I’m hopeful to find someone in the US in order to keep shipping cost to a minimum.

Again, I hope this post doesn’t violate any rules here, and I enjoy all of the projects/discussions that are posted here.
