[No Pattern] I have a question about making one piece d Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I have no idea if I’m doing this right as far as submitting a post.

I want to make something similar to this, but instead of it being all charmeuse, I want to make the skirt in charmeuse fabric and the top part in a cotton/polyster fabric. I want it one piece. So my question is, would it look dumb to have 2 different fabric types sewn as one piece?
