I recently got a new baby lock Lauren (really basic beginner serger). I’m trying to do a basic 4 thread overlooking stitch. I keep getting my stitches crooked and the machine feels like it’s getting away from me. I thought I have more issues threading this thing than speed issues but I’m highly meticulous. 3,4,2,1 and it’s easier to thread for me than my sewing machine. I know I’m special when threading a serger manually is easier than threading a sewing machine.
I think i’m going to fast. How do I slow down? It doesn’t have a speed control and it’s all in the pedal. My babylock anna is the same but I’m used to sewing fast and never needed to learn how to go slow.
