Hi /r/sewing, My wife wants a sewing machine for christmas and I’m trying to find a nice vintage option on Craigslist.

However, I have no idea what to look for or how to evaluate these things.

These two options look promising, vintage, metal and supposedly recently serviced:

However, I can’t read the model numbers from the pictures to do any googling. Are these good deals? Should I make a lower offer?
