Looking for advice with using a 1957 Kenmore 158.252 se Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Recently inherited a 158.352 sewing machine housed inside a sewing table cabinet. I tested it out and seems to be working fine. I haven’t used a sewing machine for about 10 years, but I remember the basics. Is there anything very different about using a vintage machine like this compared to a modern machine?

Also, the machine did not come with any attachments (foots/feet). Are they all universal?

Any advice is much appreciated as I’ve never worked on a machine of this age. Thanks!
