Looking for a new sewing machine- need help! Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Thredditors I need your help with sewing machine recommendations because there are not many nearby quilting shops I can go to for help.

So, I have a still functioning Brother XR4040 basic machine, and while it’s served me well I’m looking to do some basic quilting and possibly embroidery. I’m looking to spend between $300-400 on a new one. I know that it isn’t going to get me the best but before I spend loads of cash on a long arm or fancier embroidery machine that its something I will still do for more than just a few years.
