It’s officially spring and we are happy! Our classes, fabrics and indie patterns are really taking off at our little shop.
Ok where to start? Let’s start with all of our indie patterns. Indie patterns stands for independent pattern companies. These are patterns made by real people that make their own clothing. We have over 75 indie patterns in our shop to choose from. Kids sewing kits, felt dolls, clothing for all skill levels , accessories, bags and costumes are just a few.
Our fabric is much the same, we love to get fabric that the big box companies do not carry. We find the smaller companies have better customer service, quality and are US owned. We take so much joy in hand picking fabrics that are great for out garment makers and our quilters. Some of the fabric companies we carry are Art Gallery Fabrics, Robert Kaufman Fabrics, Cloud9, Riley Blake, Alexander Henry and Cotton and Steel.

Our classes have really been wonderful this season. We are booking girls nights, birthday parties, girl scouts and so many more memorable get togethers. The embroidery group classes and birthday parties are definitely a favorite of ours.

Our kids camps are all on the calendar for this summer although if you can not make it to our class you can always book your own private lesson or party.
A few other really popular choices are our Kids Night In, Open Sew (studio time) and Private Lessons to make just what you want to make!

We hope you are having a great spring too!
Happy Sewing!
I’ve been obsessed with sewing since childhood. I started stitching custom dresses, dolls and and teaching in 2004. Dresses and garments are my favorite things to sew, I’ve made over 600 garments and still sew every day. I have a back ground in early education, teaching children and adults to sew also makes me happy.
