Youthful Patterns Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hello! Sorry I wasn’t able to use a flair, I’m on mobile at the moment. I was hoping to pick your brain for some patterns. I’m looking for patterns that would be suitable for me to wear. I’m a young lady, too old (and tall!) for children’s patterns and yet the adult sewing patterns can seem too mature on a high school student. I’d absolutely love to wear my makes out, but I don’t always want to look as if I’m going to church or to see my grandma. So far, my three vintage style dresses have gotten me that kind of response (although they have been used for that purpose) I was wondering if any of you fine sewists had seen a pattern,collection, or designer that would be suitable for me? Or even any recommendations on how to take sewing patterns and make them look age appropriate? Thank you so much!
