WWYD – Almost finished sewing a pattern, then realised Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

[ad_1]

What would you do? I’ve poured hours in to cutting and sewing this skirt from a pattern (Kwik Sew K3931). It’s finally almost finished (Only need to sew hem, buttonholes and buttons) and I’ve realised it’s too big for me. I measured myself for the skirt, but must have gotten it wrong.

I’ve been procrastinating on making the decision whether I finish it, then decide down the track if I want to take it in, or just pull it apart and take it in now.

The problem with taking it in is that I’ll have to pull apart and redo the waistband as it’s part elastic. It also has pockets, so I’ll have to move them as well.

I’m procrastinating when I really should just do it. To provide some context, this is my first sewing project.

Have you ever been discouraged during a project, what did you do? Did you bite the bullet or is it still hiding in the back of your cupboard?

Edit: I’m really sorry, but I don’t know how to change the flair!
