Wrap Skirt Trouble (2nd project) [Simplicity 1322] Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

So after completing my first project!

I had the ambition of trying a more fitted skirt. I liked the pattern for the mock wrap skirt (simplicity 1322) and picked a floral green felty pattern.

In the end the skirt didn’t feel fitted. It felt frumpy. I’m not sure if it was the fabric I was using or if its not fitted to my size (it seems a bit loose) I would appreciate any advice anyone has on how to alter this skirt to make it fit better of if you think it fits fine the way it is and the pattern is just not for me.
