Used Janome Mylock 434d serger, should I get it? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hi everyone,
I was browsing my local used goods site and found this http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/OBO-JANOME-MYLOCK-434D-OBO_27143035.lite I’ve never used a serger before but I’ve been really into sewing since January and have a Singer Stylist 7258 that I love sewing with. To me the price sounds good but I have no idea what to check for to make sure it’s worth it. There’s a place in town I can take lessons and get it serviced. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
