Ultra beginner question! What do I do with my current b Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I just took my first ever sewing class today! I’ve only other touched a sewing machine one other time in my life and that was like eight years ago, so today was basically my first exposure to sewing with a machine! We made little drawstring pouches in class and used black thread. When the class was over I left the machine and the bobbin as-is. So if my next project involves black all-purpose thread, I’m good. If not, then I’ll need to do a switch!

How does that work? What do I do with the bobbin that still has thread on it? Can I un-wind it? Do I just leave it as is and start a new one with whatever thread I’ll be using next?
