Sewing piping by hand question Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Has anyone sewed piping by hand? I’ve cross stitched the front of what will be a cushion. I have made a lot of cushions by hand but have never used piping before. I have the piping and the bias tape and I’m going to be doing it by hand and was just wondering how much of a nightmare I’m in for, as every video I’ve found they use a machine.
