Sewing patches onto snapback hats. Difficult? Will it f Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

SO I need to sew a bunch of embroidered patches (like iron-on patches) onto the front panel of snapback caps. Meaning, the normal location where embroidery would be on a hat. I’ve done some sewing, but not a lot.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to do, considering the thickness of the seams, the bill getting in the way, sewing close to where the bill meets the panel I’d be sewing on, etc.

Has anyone done it? Have pics?
Do i need a walking foot? Special machine or device to make it easier?
