[Question] Trying to find a specific fabric used in bab Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hi all! Since /r/Fabrics is pretty slow sub I figured I’d x-post this here too. I’m trying to re-create (or buy) a long destroyed baby blanket for a family member who is expecting but I’m having a hard time finding the name of the fabric I’m looking for.
 

Here is what I can remember:

• The weave seems to be most similar to a waffle weave or a thermal knit.
• The blanket had a satin edge.
• The weave was pretty tight, but there were still small gaps, similar to this but with thicker yarn.
• The weave included both some sort of yarn and thread woven together, it wasn’t all yarn.
   

From photos I haven’t been able to tell if either the waffle weave or thermal weave have visible threads interlaced, which was definitely a feature of the original blanket.
