[Question] Sewing Hats Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hello,

I stumbled upon a hat pattern recently and have been thinking about it since. I would LOVE to make my own hats. I’m thinking stiff felted ones. Is this really possible with regular sewing? I always assumed it took special equipment. Does anyone have experience in this?
