Last year I made my niece a cute pink princess dress with costume satin that had an underskirt with tulle which she loves and wears ALL the time. Last week I asked my SIL what niece wanted for xmas & she said :
Elsa is definitely still at the top of the list, but [niece] today requested a ‘sleeping beauty dress’, which is odd because she’s never actually SEEN sleeping beauty. She described the dress to me as ‘having lots of cut outs’. That’s what I get for asking a four-year old what she wants.
She said she would try to get some more information and get back to me. Today I got this email:
Okay, so I figured out the deal with the Sleeping Beauty dress. [niece] apparently took her scissors to her pink dress and cut holes into it. And THAT is why she wants a new dress. You know, to replace the one she cut up.
Good grief. So no new dresses for [niece], please. At least not until she learns the important art of NOT CUTTING UP HER DRESSES WITH SCISSORS.
I can't stop giggling about this.
