New to cross stitching: any good tutorials on how to use a cross stitch pattern from a kit to stitch to a t shirt? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Curious on how to sew this new cross stitch kit pattern(vintage mushrooms!) onto a t shirt? I’ve been reading about sulky stabilizer, but I can’t quite find a good step by step tutorial on how to use the pattern from my kit onto a regular cotton t-shirt. Do I somehow transfer the pattern to the shirt? Do I iron on the stabilizer and stitch the design like I would on regular waste cloth and water solvent it away-or tear away?
