I made a party dress! It's for a small framed girl who is turning two. It's an 18 month to two years pattern but I gave to an extra quarter inch in the seams for a bit of wiggle room. (the belt is not sewn on, just added as an accessory) however, I am terrified it won't fit. Im worried about the straps being too short and I messed up the buttonholes a bit (I was also a buttonhole virgin..) but HEY!, it's my first ever toddler dress that is going to see the light outside the failed projects bag in my closet. Now if it only fits.. even for a few weeks…. I tried to try it on my (admittedly more solid) 2.5 year old boy….But no dice, he didn't understand what I wanted him to do and wriggled away.. lol (the skirt is made of 34 Kona strips from a Robert Kaufman jelly roll. and the dress will be worn over black leggings.)
