Looking for Ideas/guidance for a sewn gift/display bag Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’m looking for some inspiration/ideas/resources on a display or gift bag when gifting books.

My husband and I, and his sister and her husband, are gifting albums of our wedding photos to his grandma for christmas (we gave her a ‘IOU’ voucher as we’re both still waiting on pro photos to come back from the weddings).

Late last year she gave me her sewing machine as arthritis in her fingers meant she can’t use it anymore. It’s a gorgeous old machine and I think she was quite attached to it. I would really like to use it to sew some kind of gift or display bag to give her with the wedding albums – but everything I’ve seen so far is specifically targeted towards ‘simple / no machine needed’ which kind of defeats the purpose of using her machine.

I would class myself as an enthusiastic amateur – I used to help my mum sew a lot when I was younger and can ask for her help again. I sewed a set of chair covers last year that turned out fairly well and can follow a pattern for simple items – have never attempted zippers or pleats etc.

Is there a particular search term or resource I should be utilising when looking for inspiration? Or are there any blogs/tutorials out there targeted towards this sort of thing? I know I’m being quite vague here but I can’t even find inspiration to nail down exactly what I want to do! Thanks in advance.
