Issue With Machine Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

[ad_1]

I am having a hell of a time figuring out exactly how this issue is happening with my machine. It doesn’t matter what kind of needle, thread, fabric, or setting I am on. I have this issue sporadically, without pattern, and so it’s hard to track. I can’t even reproduce it when I want to to troubleshoot! It doesn’t happen all the time either, I can go days without a problem, or I could have it every ten minutes.

I can go 10 inches into sewing something or three feet, and whenever it starts the first sign will be that my machine slows, and when I attempt to turn the handwheel it doesn’t budge. If I floor the pedal the machine will still move, but very slowly. At this point I can remove my storage compartment and pull out my bobbin case and my bobbin thread will be wound around the center beam holding it in place. Why does this happen? I never run my machine at 100% speed because doing so would cause this to snap my thread, but at least if run slower I can see this coming, unwind it, and then put the bobbin back, re-tighten the thread, and continue with sewing without thread damage.

Here is a picture of the issue during its most recent hiccup. How can I prevent this? This is honestly the sole reason I don’t attempt clothing because I don’t want this ruining my larger projects. I’ve looked everywhere online to find a fix for this but the only thing I find is “how to thread a bobbin” and that’s not the issue here, it’s in properly.

The machine is a Singer Simple 2263
