Is this something a beginner should try? xpost- /r/sewh Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Ive done hand and leather sewing, and a little bit of machine sewing many years ago. Looking to get back into it and this seems like it would be a fairly simple project and faux looks like it would be fairly forgiving for bad seams/mistakes.

Also, as Im planning to buy a machine, is this something your average machine should be able to handle or would this require a bigger machine?
