Is there any way to make a sweater wearable after the z Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I lost the bottom zipper stop on my work coat. My work is freezing and we can only wear the company coat. I called some dry cleaners and they told me the entire zipper would have to be replaced. (The sweater is only 23 dollars but I’d rather avoid buying a new one if I could help it.) Is there anything I can do to make a makeshift zipper stop?
