I need help with sewing a Christmas stocking for my girlfriend. Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this post. I want to make my girlfriend a stocking for Christmas. I’m not planning on sewing the whole thing by hand, just taking two pieces of fabric and combining them so it makes a stocking that I can put stuff in. This will be done by hand, as I do not have a sewing machine.

I really have no idea where to start with this. I have been watching some YouTube videos, and it’s given me some general ideas; but I still have a lot of questions.

What types of materials should I use? Should I line each piece of fabric with fusable fleece? Any other suggestions?
