How to sew the angle on this scoodie? [No Pattern] Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’m trying to make this infinity scoodie and the only patterns I could find were with the scarf sewn on separately from the hood. I wanted it to be one piece of fabric on each panel.

I’m trying to sew the angle that connects the scarf to the hood and keep getting some really wonky seams once I pull it through.
