How often do you use your serger really? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I sew fairly often- 20 or so projects a year. I’m considering buying a used serger but I don’t want it cluttering up my sewing space gathering dust like 99% of my “absolutely-necessary-for-life”
possessions.

How often are you using your serger and has it vastly improved your garments?
