Hemming Question – Sheer Fabric. Please see photos inside! Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’m finishing up this dress for my office Christmas Party, and I’m trying to decide how to hem the sheer fabric of the top-skirt.

I’m torn between leaving the edge raw (fabric won’t unravel) or doing a tiny hem after serging the edge.

For the sleeves I used black bias tape, but that turned out a bit too stiff for how I’d like the skirt to look.

I’m leaning towards just leaving the raw edge, but my husband thinks I should hem it. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
