I finished ironing one outfit, made out of hunter green doe suede, and started on another, made of white cotton, and learned a lesson.

Fabric dye can transfer to irons and then transfer to the next fabric.

But I cannot figure out how to get it off. All the cleaning methods I find when I search online are for build up or other such things.

Can this issue be solved, or am I resigned to using ironing cloths for the rest of the life of my iron?
