[help] I need to buy a sewing machine to my wife, but I don't know the difference between two machines Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

My wife is learning right now to sew. She is using Pfaff Hobby 1142. but I didn’t found this.
The man in the store call me and said that he have a – he named it pfaff 160s.
I don’t know if 160s is really better than 1142. I have no understanding abut sew machines.

My wife like to use the hobby 1142 version. But I cannot find it to buy.
So do you know what other machine are similar?

(I cannot ask her, it is a present to her birthday)
