Hello everyone,
I am having some trouble with my machine and it is basically seizing up and I was problem solving what to do and came to realize that I have never cleaned the poor thing. It seems like there could be a lot of thready bits in there.
So I looked up the manual so I don’t mess anything up while I am cleaning it and read the whole thing and find that the only section on cleaning is about dusting the area with the bobbin and well…I’ve already done that. It is quite straightforward and not quite what I was looking for.
Surely the rest of the fiddly bits need to be dusted every once in a while? I imagine the thread leaves little tiny bits of stuff constantly and I know that sewing machines can last decades. There must be some element of cleaning.
Am I wrong?
