hand sewing a cot blanket from a liberty pattern, shoul Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

As the title states I’m hand sewing a cot blanket from a liberty pattern. I’ve done maybe about 6 hexagon ‘flowers’. The first five I stitched according the pattern but I looked online at other techniques… I sewed my 6th flower using advice and the difference is crazy. You can hardly see any stitches between each hexagon.

Given that I’m going to go over the hand sewn blanket with a sewing machine, should I go back and redo the ‘flowers’ that I have sewn and look a bit crap? Will it be visible once I go over them with the machine? I’ve put a link to some pics. Tbh, I feel that I probably should because I’ve spent a lot on the fabric and I want a nice looking blanket. But it’s been so much work!!
