Had a machine gifted to me. I'm a beginner and am unsure if I should I keep this one or exchange for a machine I researched. Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’ve been wanting to learn to sew for sometime and was gifted a Brother SE400 Embroidery and Sewing machine to learn on or sell and buy another. After research I had originally intended to buy a Brother CS6000 or Brother XR9500PRW but was gifted the Brother SE400. I need the machine to be good with denim and want something I can grow with. Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
