I have a unique physique, which causes me to have to realistically get all of my dress shirts tailored and my pants hemmed (tall, skinny, male).
My question is, at $15-$20 bucks a shirt for professional tailoring, is it worth it to buy a sewing machine like this one and just learn how to tailor my own shirts instead? Is this something you really want done by a professional, or is it something I can easily learn at home? It looks easy enough, but I know looks can always be deceiving…
I am curious what more experienced people feel the learning curve would be and if it is just better to go to a professional.
