Frustration Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

[ad_1]

I’ve been sewing leisurely for a few years. Small things, pouches and cases and covers and aprons. I feel like I’m never going to be great, no matter how many tutorials I watch or classes I physically attend. Somehow I end up always making some dumb mistake, or the stitching is not straight, or I cut through the seam or mismatched corners…..it’s always something. Almost ready to stop and just say, well, it just isn’t meant to be.

Anyone ever feel this way? That you always get an “A” for effort but “C” for results? I have a fantastic machine, and always spend more for quality tools and fabrics. I follow directions to the letter…I take classes at the community center…always posting on sewing forums if I get stuck…but I’m still like a hapless pianist who can barely manage Chopsticks after 5 years of expensive lessons.

Last night I tried to hem hubby’s slacks and…well………they’re in the donation bin now.

I’m sad 🙁
