Finally bought a serger! My goal is to make activewear. Any tips? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Hey everyone! I’m super stoked as I just purchased a serger, the Brother 1034D. I did a lot of research about which machine to get. There was so much info, it overwhelmed me to a point where I just wasn’t gonna get anything. But yesterday, I just bit the bullet and got a serger. I have a sewing machine already, it’s just very old which is why I thought about getting a new one. But I digress!

So my intentions are to make a ton of my own yoga leggings and sports bras and bralettes. Again, there is so much info on the internet that my brain was super fried after reading it all. I am still a beginner at this so I’d really appreciate any tips, advice, or warnings you guys may have 🙂
