Fabric Stores in the Pacific NW – Suggestions? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’m in Tacoma, working on a costume, and the fabric stores here, Hancock, Joann, quilt places, and upholstery places, just don’t offer much in the way of apparel fabrics. They offer a taste, but that’s about it, and when you’ve got something specific in mind, all I get from the stores is a empty gas tank and a headache.

Do any of you Pacific Northwesterners have a favorite store for your supplies?

I’ve been to Mill End down in Oregon, and it is awesome, but it’s also frustrating to have to make a near full day trip just to find some fabric. I’m really hoping that someone might know of an equivalent closer to the Tacoma/Seattle/Olympia area.
