Borrowed a Bernette and can't figure out the bobbi Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

Someone very kind loaned me their Bernina Bernette and I don’t like the bobbin thread color for my project and… I can’t figure out how to get the bobbin out.

Seriously, I feel like a total idiot, but I’ve tried at every angle and the drop-in bobbin won’t come out. I’m terrified of pulling too hard and breaking an expensive machine.

Is there a release button I’m missing? Something?
