Best technique for padding a dress form? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I got a PGM dress form for my birthday, so exciting!

I’ve seen numerous ways from duct tape to the $70 pads that you shave down. I just put my bra on her and the measurements fit well. It’s the waist I need to add a bit on to.

What way did you find to be best/easiest?

Also, one annoying problem, the dress form body doesnt lower enough to screw on the top finishing piece. Anyone else had this issue? My husband is going to shave down some parts to make it fit, I just didnt want to do that if we are doing something wrong that could be an easy fix.

thanks ladies! OH also, I took my sewing machine in to be fixed, its gonna cost $120, but I dont even care anymore about that price because its a legit machine and I need a machine now, not to mention I live in CA so its no surprise thats the cost. So thank you all for your help!
