Are my alteration expectations for this dress realistic Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding in September and I ordered this dress for it (we are supposed to pick out our own dresses). I’m wondering if it would be possible for a professional seamstress to add a lace panel in the back as well as lace sleeves. I did a quick mock-up of what I’d want (http://imgur.com/T8phPYb). Do these alterations seem reasonable for this dress? I’d like the lace to be see-through against my skin. Would another fabric like mesh work better? I’m just looking for advice/suggestions from people who know much more about sewing than I do to get an idea if my expectations are realistic. Thanks!
