Anybody know how to create embroidery files (e.g. xxx) Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I have a Futura CE-250 and it is able to turn a graphic image into an embroidery pattern file (e.g. xxx) but I’d like to go a step further and actually edit the embroidery instructions directly. Is there something that will take a vector art file and make it into embroidery instructions, or is there software to edit and make embroidery file formats directly? Thanks!
