Help needed for a collar Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I just started sewing.
This is my first project and I can’t grasp the concept of the collar. New Look 6884 C I have everything cut but if anyone has some advice for me I would be grateful. I googled and found some youtube videos but there was always some thing too different about it and even then, it kind of went over my head.
