My bust and waist are apparently very different sizes. Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I was about to cut fabric for a lingerie slip (Vogue 8888, view E — I know, it’s very pretty). I measured myself and my bust (33”) indicates a size 10, but my waist (30”) indicates a size 16! I don’t know what size to cut, and it seems that if I just taper the bust into the waist it’s going to look like just a shapeless tube :S
This is why I usually stick to quilting….. not having to worry about sizing…
