Brother Project Runway vs. Standard Brother Machines Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

[ad_1]

Anyone know if there is a difference in quality between the standard Brother machines and their slightly cheaper Project Runway counterparts? I happened to find both a Brother XR9500PRW and a Brother CS6000i at great prices and bought them both. I am now trying to figure out which to keep and which to return! They have the same MSRP on the Brother website and seem almost identical in features and accessories. The only difference I could find is that the slightly cheaper Project Runway model comes with a hard storage case and has about 30 fewer stitch options. They both have great reviews.

I’m tempted to keep the PRW simply for the hard case. My current machine is bare bones, so either one of these will be a huge step up. My only concern is that the CS6000i sells for more on Amazon, and the PRW line in general tends to be cheaper than the standard Brother machines, so I don’t want to sacrifice quality.

Has anyone heard of or experienced a difference in quality or parts between a PRW machine and its more expensive twin? If they are basically the same, I’ll choose the PRW, but if they are made more cheaply I’ll go for the other one. Thanks for your help!
