[M6188] Need Teddy Bear Pattern Help Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

So, I’m making a teddy bear for my sister-in-law, and I’m having trouble finding a good bear pattern.

I got McCalls M6188 and altered it slightly- I made detached ears rather than leaving them attached to the head. Subsequently, the head came out a little narrower. Also, the bear came out downright small. The pattern says it makes a 16″ bear, and maybe that’s what this ended up being, but it just feels small.

Below are pictures. The bear on the left is the one I made today, and the bear on the right is an exact replica (made by my mom) of the bear my mom made me when I was a baby.

Does anyone know where I can find a pattern like the bear on the right? If not, is there a trick to making this bear bigger and change the shape slightly without it being a pain in the butt?

(A friend of mine with a 6mo old has claimed this derpy bear, so I will make it a smaller bow and make the big one currently pinned to the bear into a matching head-band for the baby…)
