Hey Sew-ers. Where are you from? Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I live in the Canadian prairies, so there isn’t much in the way of ‘meet-ups’ here. But I am going to a retreat next month, and I think it’s such a great idea. Maybe it’ll work for some of you other isolated people?

Basically, a couple women rented out a hall in the country that has a commercial kitchen, and a couple dozen dorm rooms. They’ll set up tables with extension cords, and each woman attending gets her own table to craft however she likes. It goes for a weekend, and all meals are provided. It’s such a lovely way to get away and make some stuff, and I think the idea could work for a lot of areas.
