[McCall's M7095/Y] Cutting Layout question Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

I’m sewing a tunic (well, trying) and I can’t seem to figure out the cutting layout. Photo here. I have the 60″ fabric so I’m looking at the second image. I understand the part where I’m supposed to fold both from the top and bottom. The part that is throwing me off though is that it looks like all the selvages are on the right side? Am I supposed to fold it from the left side as well? If so, shouldn’t it indicate that? Elsewhere on the pattern it’s either got the two selvages labeled separately or when they are next to each other it just says ‘selvages.’ Pieces 4 and 5 say ‘cut 1 on fold’ so it doesn’t make sense to me to fold it so the selvages are together, but how else did they get next to each other like in the drawing? Or am I just not reading it correctly?
