Hi Everyone! Sorry if this is not allowed. Though I’m running out of ideas and needed experienced sewer to help me. I have sew may be less than 5 times in my life and I just brought a new 4411 over the Holidays!
As a beginner, I’m very excited to do something. Yesterday, I pull the machine out due to snow and after some starts and stops, I was able to hem my dress. ( low quality thread and unable to thread my bobbins.) Today, I am sewing swimwear fabric on to a bra to make a bikini top. I change the needle to a ball point and quality coats thread. Then off I go! My machine has skip some stitches, but after taking my thread plate off, I have found the bobbin black thing is not seated right. So I have fixed that. I finished one side of the cup with no issues. Then I started on the other side. Then I felt the machine slowing down comparing to the other side and I have tried hand turning and I have felt more resistant then before. So I took the cover off of the needle arm portion to see if there is anything that’s in it’s way. There is nothing. No Dust. No thread. Nothing. Then I took the needle plate off and find the black part of the bobbins is off of it’s housing. I will post some pictures, in the links. It is very frustrating stopping mid project and fixed the bobbin piece. Did I screw it up or did I get a lemon? Thank you in advance.
Mods – if this is not allowed, please let me know where I can get help on this.
