BERNINA is finalizing design and production of their new long-arm quilting machine. This high-quality long-arm quilting machine features an easy, simplified threading path, built-in stitch regulation, standard BERNINA presser feet, standard needles, and an automatic needle threader, contained in a sleek Swiss-designed package. Never guess at tension settings again. Tension is digital with numeric reference numbers. Stitch regulation is optically sensed from beneath the sewing surface, eliminating clumsy cables and encoder problems. Bobbin winding is fast and easy with the built-in winder, conveniently located near the front of the machine. The hand wheel control is also nearby, on the right side panel, allowing you to manually advance the needle without reaching for the traditional rear control.

BIG will be available in 24″ and 20″ lengths.

Quilt artists will love the rich, high-resolution color touch-screen, built-in basting stitch and thread trim functions. This new BERNINA “Super-model” will be available in sit-down and quilt-frame edition.
