I’m comparing these two sergers at the moment. The brother DZ1234 and the Juki MO644D. I have zero experience with sergers. I want one to up my clothing sewing game. I want to sew tights and dresses and hem pants in the blink of an eye.
They have similar stats, which I’ve listed. The main difference is that the Brother has a free arm/flat bed convertible sewing surface while the Juki does not. I’m torn.. Do I get the slightly more expensive Juki because it’s a more desirable brand, has a high MSRP, has a dedicated cutting drive and can stitch faster or do I get the Brother because of the free arm surface? Does the free arm surface make a big difference when sewing cylinders like sleeves?
Thank you!!!
