Just got my first sewing machine, a bit lost on what else I need Sewing Machines Parts and Sales in Los Angeles

So I recently purchased the brother cs6000i that was just on sale from Amazon. I'm currently going through their tutorials on their youtube, which have been very informative so far!

I want to start hemming jeans/dress pants/pajamas and I was wondering what kind of thread I need to get started. Or is there a set kit that I can buy that'll provide a lot of my beginner needs?
